There are currently 5 recognised basketball teams based in Greenwich which the academy will be working closely with, promoting their games to students as well as young people in the wider community.

Greenwich Titans Men team will be competing in the Division 4 National League. This team is coached by GSA head coach Joel Moore.

Met Trident Greenwich has recruited several new players for the upcoming season, utilising the special relationship with Greenwich University. Finishing 4th in the Premier league last season was not good enough for a team of this magnitude and so the focus is on rebuilding and strengthening in key areas for the upcoming season.

Greenwich Admirals were happy to have won the 1st Division last season and will be focused on a good showing in the Premier League, the focus will be not to get relegated in the first season and build a strong foundation.

Greenwich Titans Women’s team is a newly formed basketball team focused solely on the development of women’s basketball in the borough.

After losing one game last year, Greenwich University Men’s team failed to get promoted. They know that nothing short of promotion will do for the upcoming season and the coach promises that it will be a fantastic year.

Greenwich University Women’s are focused on gaining promotion in the coming year in the BUCS league and continuing the work from last season.
