The 35th Balfour Beatty London Youth Games, Europe’s largest annual youth sports event will be taking place this June. This year will be the first time Greenwich Sports Academy will be entering a competitive basketball team for both boys and girls under the age of 18.

Team tryouts will be taking place across 4 days. Dates are as follows:

St Pauls Academy, Finchale Road, Abbey Wood, SE2 9PX on

Saturday 28TH JANUARY & 4TH FEBRUARY at 11am – 1pm

Crown Woods College, 145 Bexley Road, Eltham, SE9 2PT on

Sunday 29TH JANUARY & 5TH FEBRUARY at 12pm – 2pm

To be eligible to play you must meet the following criteria:

Be a resident of Greenwich borough. This includes the following areas; Abbey, Abbey Wood, Avery Hill, Blackheath Park, Charlton, Eltham, Greenwich, Kidbrooke, New Charlton, New Eltham, Plumstead, Plumstead Common, Shooters Hill, Thamesmead, Thamesmead West, Woolwich.

Be aged 17 or under before June 30th 2012.
